2009 Art in the Park held on Saturday, May 30th was a wonderful success for only our second year!  We had over 300 visitors and the Des Moines Register printed 12 photos of our event showing we had people from Urbandale, Cumming, Waukee and Des Moines attending as well as Dallas Center.

We want to thank MoJo Johnson and his daughter, and Mark Christensen for donating their musical talents to provide wonderful entertainment!

We also want the thank the following people for supporting and organizing this event and we look forward to even more fun next year. Friends of the Library and Phi Beta Cappa Sorority donated money so we could get good signs and have great activities for our children attending.   If you want to volunteer, just contact any of these folks!
