25 AUG 10 - We had our last pre-festival meeting tonight.  Everything is lined up and we are going to have beautiful weather so we expect big crowds!  If you are interested in helping with the Fall Festival, our post-festival meeting will be September 14th at 7:00pm at the Raccoon Valley Bank on highway 44.

20 AUG 10 - Free Bus Tour of the Brenton ArboretumDallas Center Fall FestivalSaturday, August 28^th 1:00 PM and again at 3:00 PM  Enjoy an air-condition bus tour of the Brenton Arboretum during the Dallas Center Fall Festival on Saturday afternoon, August 28^th.  The guided tour begins at the Dallas Center Library and two tours are planned; one beginning at 1:00 PM, the second at 3:00 PM.  Kay Meyer, Director of Education and Outreach, will identify note-worthy trees and share information about the Brenton Arboretum’s history, research and educational programs during the tour.  Each guided tour will last about 1 hour.  Reserve a seat on the bus by signing the registration sheets available at the Dallas Center Public Library, the Dallas Center City Hall or by contacting the Brenton Arboretum, 515-992-4211 or by email; This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 18 AUG 10 - just had our meeting.  We have one more next Wednesday at the Raccoon Valley Bank at 7:00pm.  We welcome all who would like to help with the festival. 

21 JUL 10 - we just had a great meeting.  The final schedule of events is out.  The schedule on the website is the final version.  The August water bill will have a schedule included but it is not complete.  The next committee meeting is August 4th - we need volunteers!
